Gwinnett Public and Private Leaders to Unveil Details of
Major Economic Stimulus Initiative at May 21 Press Conference

With small signs of a recovery underway and on the heels of a string of recent economic development successes and announcements, Gwinnett County's public and private sector leaders are preparing to launch an unprecedented "Gwinnett Economic Stimulus Plan" designed to assist homeowners, small businesses, and the construction and real estate industries by stabilizing housing prices and stimulating local consumer, business and public sector spending, with a potential economic impact of more than $1 billion to the local economy over the next five years. Leaders from the Gwinnett Chamber, Gwinnett County and City Governments, Gwinnett Housing Authority, The Impact Group for Northeast Georgia, Gwinnett County Public Schools and other will be on hand to share details at this press conference.
