I just think that the main street media is actually clueless when it comes to know what is going on in our communities.  I think they can speak in generalities about what has happened and provide their opinon of what might happen, but it is pure conjecture on their part.  Someone living in a community is a far better judge of what is going on there than someone sitting in some news room.  Part of this issue for me is having to talk a client down off the ledge because some economist in some far flung city thinks things are getting worse, or better...arghhh comes to mind.

Today the local paper printed some good news for us in Dallas.  Our housing prices are showing growth again.  Dallas is one of three cities in the country showing this positive growth.

Listening to the media in general, you'd think it's all doom and gloom.  It may be slower than we'd like, but I do see an improvement in our local market.
